Do you make only color portraits?
No, I also offer black-and-white portraits. Color portraits are usually rendered in color pencil, black and white portraits are rendered in graphite pencil. All commissions come mounted and matted.
What is the cost to commission a pet portrait from you?
Please go to the Book a Commission page to see the sizes and prices I offer. Then places fill out the form on that page to submit your commission request and then I will be in touch with you soon!
Do I need to pay everything up-front?
How do payments work?
A non-refundable payment that is 25% of the cost is required up-front. The remainder of the cost will be due upon completion of the portrait.
What happens after I submit my commission request?
Upon completing the commission request form, you will receive an email from me to begin communicating about the details of the portrait. I will also stay in touch to answer any questions you may have during the process.
How long will it take?
In order to receive your portrait within a specific time frame, please book at least one month in advance of when you need it, if it will be a gift, for example. Larger portraits and portraits with multiple subjects will take longer, so please keep that in mind.
How much will shipping cost?
Shipping costs will depend on the size and weight of the portrait. For small portraits and medium portraits, around $33, and for large portraits shipping around $58. Shipping will be charged after the portrait has been sent to its destination.
